Ocular Migraine I Have Had An Ocular Migraine For Over Six Days And It Just Wont Go Away Any Ideas?

I have had an ocular migraine for over six days and it just wont go away any ideas? - ocular migraine

This is the first time that this happened to me and really begin to bother me. I visited my ophthalmologist and he said, there is nothing wrong with my eyes then I went to my doctor and said I should try Advil liquid gel, but nothing seems to work. I began to read birth control a month ago and I am online, that the eyes may trigger migraine. Suggestions?

  1. Your first priority should be to abandon migraine. Then triggers.

Your family doctor should be able to give an injection of Imitrex - that is to cancel migraine within minutes.

If it does not give that to do a visit to the emergency room will.

If you are not interested in shooting with chemicals (which you may be guilty!) No free natural cure for all migraine: http://www.migraineassistant.com /

The doctors are very complicated when it comes to dealing with pain. From my experience, requires a doctor or do not require as careful (using medication) to stop a migraine in progress, or too liberal (he has abortifacient drugs succeed in CrIC Migraine - what was) an endless cycle of rebound headaches.

It's so hard to find the right balance.

If you have never had problems before the migraine, birth control is likely a factor.

If you do not stop triggers your date of birth control, to eliminate all the others to stop your headache. Take a lot of pain over the counter? You can perpetuate the headache is facing.

    Follow these steps:

    1) Cut the trigger (birth control, coffee, alcohol, food, different triggers all the pain the fight against the deadly!)
    2) Provide enough sleep, if possible.
    3) establishes a schedule where you wake up in bed at exactly the same time every day - if you have too much sleep or not!
4)If having a few days was not spared a headache, ask your doctor for a referral to a neurologist who specializes in headaches.

Note: The neurologist will probably enter at least a drastic remedy. It is likely that triptan abort migraines.

Once you abandoned migraines, DO NOT USE the triptan often!

This is very important that you create a cycle of recovery that can make your life miserable start.
